When outdoor pads help
Useful on patios, rooftops, RV trips, or in yards where you want to protect a specific area of lawn or keep dogs off gravel.
Durability
Look for UV-resistant turf, a perforated backing for drainage, and weights or stakes so it doesn't shift. Disposable paper pads are rarely suitable outdoors.
Cleaning
Hose down frequently and use a pet-safe outdoor enzyme cleaner. Lift the mat periodically to clean underneath.
